Virtual incentives (VI) is the name of the company Foodsmart works with to provide digital incentives to our patients to reward them for taking steps in their health journey. VI sends gift cards on Foodsmart’s behalf - these are usually Walmart gift cards.
When is my gift card sent?
The Walmart giftcard(s) is sent the following Monday after you complete an activity that is rewardable based on your health plan (e.g., meet with a dietitian, complete NutriQuiz) .
What does the Virtual Incentive email look like in your email inbox?
The email subject line is: Foodsmart Sent You a Virtual Gift Card. The email sender address is: reward@virtualrewardcenter.com
What does the Walmart gift card look like?
How do I claim my Walmart gift card?
1. Click on Redeem My Reward!
2. A new webpage will load. After the webpage has finished loading, click on Activate My Reward.
3. Click on the "Go to eGift Card" button.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
What if I can’t find the gift card or never received it?
Please check your Spam folder, junk folder or Social folder first and check for an email from “reward@virtualrewardcenter.com” If you cannot find it in your email inbox, Foodsmart can resend the link.
Can Virtual Incentives gift cards be resent?
Yes, if you cannot find it in your e-mail inbox, Foodsmart can resend the link.
Can I use multiple gift cards at the same time?
Yes, you can use more than one gift card at a time. The Walmart gift cards can be used online at Walmart.com or in the Walmart mobile app. The gift cards can also be used in person. To do this, print out your Walmart gift card and use the bar code to pay at checkout at any Walmart location.
