Depending on your coverage, your child may also have access to Foodsmart telenutrition! Many of our health plan and employer partners allow dependents older than 18 to sign up for telenutrition services; some also provide coverage for those under the age of 18. Additionally, for those exploring self-pay options, your child would be considered eligible.
My child is covered. How do I get them scheduled for a visit?
Our goal is to provide your child with the best care possible, which means scheduling a visit with a dietitian who is knowledgeable in adolescent nutrition.
Please contact us at support@foodsmart.com or 1-888-837-5325, and a Foodsmart care team member will get your child connected to the right provider.
NOTE: If you self-schedule with a provider who is not equipped to support your child, you may be asked to reschedule.
Do I have to be present for the virtual visit?
If your child is under the age of 13, a parent or guardian will be expected to be present for the duration of the virtual nutrition visit. Depending on your health plan, a parent or guardian may also be expected to be present for children ages 13-18. Your child also needs to be present for the visit, so please consider this when scheduling.
