Yes! You'll receive a reminder notification if payment has not yet been received 20 days after your first billing statement. Reminders for outstanding payment balances will also be sent 35, 70, and 105 days from your first statement, depending how long the bill remains outstanding.
Bills that go underpaid for more than 105 days from the first statement notification will be sent to a collection agency for further communication.
Reminders will be sent via phone (call/text), email, and your Athena Patient Portal.
