Benefit Overview
Your total number of allowed visits is determined by your registered dietitian. You may be responsible for a co-payment after your 3rd visit. Please reach out to Cigna Member Services (800-244-6224) for more information.
Eligibility Verification
When you schedule a telehealth appointment, the system performs a real-time eligibility check:
- After clicking to confirm your appointment, a brief wait screen may appear for up to 35 seconds
- During that time, the system automatically verifies your coverage
- No action is required from you — it runs in the background
- If it takes longer than expected, it will still proceed normally
Scheduling an Appointment
To schedule your initial appointment, follow these steps:
- Visit foodsmart.com and create or log into your Foodsmart account
- Select your preferred dietitian and time slot
- Your appointment will be confirmed once the eligibility check completes
